On the Jökulsárlón & Glacier Cruise Tour you will take an unforgettable journey along Iceland’s spectacular south coast, culminating in the enchanting Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Departing early in the morning from Reykjavík, you will travel by comfortable coach through a landscape dominated by rugged mountains, vast lava fields and picturesque villages.
Along the way you will pass impressive waterfalls, including Seljalandsfoss, where you will have the unique opportunity to walk behind the waterfall. You will also visit the powerful Skógafoss, one of Iceland's widest and most impressive waterfalls. The tour also offers breathtaking views of glaciers and volcanoes, including the infamous Eyjafjallajökull, which erupted in 2010 and brought air traffic across Europe to a standstill.
The absolute highlight of the tour is the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders. Here you can see giant icebergs break off from the glacier and slowly float in the deep blue water of the lagoon. The contrast between the ice, water and sky creates a surreal landscape. If you’re lucky, you might even spot seals moving between the icebergs. You’ll sail past the floating icebergs in an amphibious vehicle on the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. This boat tour offers the perfect opportunity to see the Glacier Lagoon in the best possible way, with the chance to hold and taste at least 1000 years old ice.

A 14 hour journey but TOTALLY worth it - we saw waterfalls, glaciers, lagoons and Diamond Beach. Out of this world but very cold - wear layers!!
The views were amazing! The guide was very informative and realistic. She was helpful with times, advice on food and she informed us about the culture of Iceland (including personal stories about her life in Iceland) and gave us information about what we saw.
The bus driver and leader were great!! Learned a lot of cool stuff while driving. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable (I'm tall). The food was good at the stops. All the sights were great and we got to see the northern lights on the way back.
We had the most amazing experience with this tour. It was really well organized, the pick up was on time and the communication was great. Our guides, Gerri and Kelli, were so nice. They told us all sorts of facts about Iceland. We were lucky to have a sunny day at all the spots. The bonus was that Gerri saw the Northern Lights 1 1/2 hours before we got back to Reykjavík and stopped so we could see and enjoy them. It was our best memory of our trip to Iceland and I will never forget it. Thank you!!
