The weather in Rovaniemi
Rovaniemi is quite cold year-round. From November to March, temperatures remain below zero all day long, with January even reaching -20 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures during these months range from -3 to -10 degrees Celsius. In April, temperatures rise back towards the positive temperature, and from May to August, average daytime temperatures are around 10 to 20 degrees Celsius, with 6 to 9 hours of sunshine. The most popular travel time to Rovaniemi is from December to mid-April.
